Some results of the BEET-PULP project

Production process

1. Need to have the highest brightness possible for the product. The drying needs to be adapted to reduce the brightness reversion. If necessary, it was shown that a bisulphite bleaching could lead to some brightness

2. The pressing will be done using the existing equipment in the mill

3. A specific drying at the low temperature needs to be installed

4. A microniser to produce the beet-pulp powder
